  Swayzak is a tech house duo from the United Kingdom that consists of James S. Taylor and David Brown. They live and work in London and released their first 12" single "Bueno" / "Fukumachi" in February to much acclaim. It was followed up by the 12" "Speedboat" / "Low Rez Skyline" to become part of the burgeoning tech-house scene in the UK. Their debut long player, Snowboarding in Missing: Claktronic.

  Review: Swayzak are their old selves again! James Taylor's fatherhood sabbatical is over, David "Brun" Brown managed things during his absence anyway, and now they return together with their album "Some Other Country." Swayzak's new opus sounds mature and full.

  Sep 10,  · Like most of the album, it moves along at Swayzak's signature 4/4, ish BPM clip, just steady and forceful enough to dance to if you wanted. On other occasions, though, the beat alone isn't.

  Swayzak, too, were only just beginning – but clearly feel a decade on that now is the time to present a more mature side to their musical development. With James Taylor returning from paternity leave it’s a pertinent time to take action, and they do this in the form of a carefully planned sixth album, calling on collaborators old and new.

  The brave album featured ambitious collaborations with dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah, Opus III vocalist Kirsty Hawkshaw, and vocalist JB Rose.
