This copy of Blue Cheers lp Oh Pleasant Hope Is Perfect! Both disc and jacket are in Near Mint condition. Never played and only opened to be signed by both Paul Whaley and the late great Dickie Peterson R.I.P.! I do not know if this is a reissue on Philips records or not but theres no bar code.

Jun 08,  · PLEASANT HOPE was the sixth and final album of BLUE CHEER "Mark I." The album is ° turnaround from the days of VINCEBUS ERUPTUM. Many of the tunes have an acoustic base and wouldn't sound out of place on QUICKSILVER's ' SHADY GROVE ' or some laid-back Southern rock album.

Pleasant Hope was recorded at a time when Blue Cheer 's fortunes were at a low ebb, and it was the last album they would cut before breaking up for several years; it's hard to imagine anyone thought this was a shrewd commercial move, and at heart, this is an album Blue Cheer made because they felt like doing this, and the relaxed attitude and sense of fun is what makes this album work.7/
